About

We are residents across Cranston organizing and advocating to ensure people are engaged by city government, and responds to their needs in creating policy. We believe our city government should be accessible, inclusive, accountable, open, transparent, and representative of the full diversity of our city.

Our Vision is a Cranston city government that respects and includes the voices of all of its people, and genuinely and transparently works to respond to the community’s needs. We seek equitable policies that are economically, socially, and environmentally sustainable. We seek a government that facilitates social justice and identifies solutions among people and parties of differing viewpoints.

We hold the following values and principles to be true:

  • The role of government is to serve our community, and we the people must hold our government accountable.

  • Diversity is our strength. We embrace open and transparent dialogue, respect different perspectives, and act in solidarity to promote positive change for our city.

  • We center resolving systemic injustices and achieving equity in all of our work.

  • We believe in community-first development that represents the integrity of our community and environment.

  • We believe in working to engage everyone in our community.

  • We believe in bringing people together to find common ground and identify solutions.

  • We seek to work past partisan and political divides to prioritize the needs of Cranston’s people.
